The handset features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display which makes it different from the other smartphones in the Bolt range which comparatively have smaller screens and are priced at a low cost. 

Micromax Bolt A82 runs on a 1.3GHz dual core MediaTeak MT6572 processor which is assisted in its operations by 512MB of RAM.

The device gets 4GB of storage on board with an option of expanding the memory  up to 32GB with a micro SD card. The phone gets 5MP camera on the rear and 0.3MP camera on the front to please the selfie enthusiasts.

It is powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and the company has not given any information if Lollipop update will be arriving anytime soon.  The phone supports 28 regional languages and get applications pre-installed like Chaatz, M! live, Snapdeal, Games club, MAD and many more.
