The update provides power improvements and security enhancements for the device. The device priced at Rs 8,999 is turned out to be a hot seller as 25,000 units of Yu Yureka smartphones went 'out of stock' in just 6 seconds during the last flash sale on Amazon.in.

Yureka is a 4G device, which features Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octacore processor and 64-bit multi-core CPU coupled with 2GB RAM. It features 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution that is protected with Gorilla Glass 3.

The device gets 16GB ROM, 12.5GB memory (for apps and mass storage and expandable up to 32 GB), 13MP camera on the rear and 5MP front camera. To fuel all the operations of the 4G enabled smartphone, the company has packed it with a 2,500 mAh battery for long lasting usage and dual-SIM functionality.

Based on Android operating system, CyanogenMod offers features and options not found in the official firmware that is distributed by most mobile device vendors.
