Company officials revealed that Nokia site betalabs.nokia.com will be discontinued on August 31, 2014 and all links to the Nokia site will be redirected to Lumia Beta Apps.

This revision came following the Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia’s handsets division.

Lumia Beta Apps is based on services provided by UserVoice, which Microsoft previously used in the Windows Phone Suggestion Box.

This latest website will provide all the relevant information about ongoing trials, instructions to install beta apps, and notes about app features.

This trials at Nokia Beta Labs will continue at the new site and users can give feedback and also interact there.

This apps can be downloaded via Microsoft’s Windows Phone store, simply by clicking on a link or by scanning a QR code.

At the time of writing, only four apps Nokia Camera, Yahoo-powered Nokia Chat, App Social and Nokia Conference are available in the beta version.

These apps will be rolled out publicly following testing and app revisions based on the feedback given to their respective development teams.
