Mindteck was involved in the proof of concept phase that also entailed optimizing product cost. Other contributions included electronic design of various modules, such as the processor, battery and camera.
“We are thrilled to have been part of this meaningful endeavor. It happens to be in keeping with our WE CARE global education commitment, and it has also provided the opportunity to prove our long-standing strength in end-to-end product design.

Our hope is that this will go a long way toward the development of products which are cost-effective and built to last,” commented Yusuf Lanewala, Mindteck Chairman and Managing Director.
The Infinity is designed to give children a head start by introducing them to essential technology at an early age, and to last for an entire childhood or longer.  Every device ordered contributes to the distribution of technology to children, schools and communities who need it the most.

Rangan Srikhanta, Founder and CEO of One Education, Australia, commented, “The team at Mindteck worked so closely with us that they felt like internal members of our foundation. They were responsive, and solved problems intelligently. We wouldn’t have a working Infinity prototype without them! ”
