Beijing: China said on Thursday that the differences with India were minor but maintained that they will not disturb the working relationship and friendship between the two countries.

No contentious issues with China: Krishna

The affirmation came at a meeting between visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna and his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi during which the entire gamut of bilateral issues was discussed.

It also said that it will push forward the developmental aspirations with India and will handle "sensitive issues" very carefully keeping in mind the potential growth and economic relations between the two sides.

The minister, who was in Beijing for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, later left for home.
