Moradabad: The three-year-old Rubayasa does not know the compulsions of boundaries. Neither does she understand the meaning of citizenship or the complications of passport and visa rules. But she very well understands the pain of being deprived of her parents love.

Shabana, a resident of Bilari from Moradabad, UP, got married to Rehan, a Pakistani resident from Karachi in 2008. After marriage Shabana used to travel to Moradabad from Karachi on several occasions.

Recently in June this year, Shabana along with her daughter Rubayasa came to her native home in Moradabad from Karachi. Few days later she received a letter from Karachi which shocked her. The letter was from her husband saying   ‘Talaq, Talaq, Talaq’.

Now the doors to Pakistan are closed for Shabana as well as for her daughter Rubayasa. But the real problem lies ahead o Rubayasa who is a Pakistani national and whose visa is about to lapse in few days. Once the visa expires her stay will be deemed illegal in India.
Shabana was seen along with her daughter in Moradabad district headquarter on Monday.  She has informed the district officials about the series of events.

The Superintendent of Police, V S Meena has made contact with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and initiated a process to resolve the problems faced by Shabana and her daughter. Legal experts are also trying hard to come out with a solution to this complicated issue.
