New Delhi: The 17-year-old Indian girl Emaan Shah who went missing from London on June 10 on a holiday in UK has been traced in Scotland. Shah went missing on the day when she was supposed to return to Mumbai with her family after a two week vacation in the European county.

Emaan got separated from her parents while they were shopping on Oxford Street, one of the city's busiest shopping districts in London. On realizing her absence, the Shah family rushed to look for Emaan at the Mariott Hotel in Marble Arch where they were staying. There was no sign of Emaan at the hotel either. The police had handed out leaflets at the Regent’s Park Mosque after they were told Emaan is very religious.

The reason for Shah’s sudden disappearance still remains unclear. According to Metropolitan Police Services, London, there are no signs of Shah being kidnapped forcefully. It appears that she had travelled to Scotland all by herself.
