New Delhi: Both the Congress and the BJP are gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha poll in 2014. Newly appointed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will meet office bearers of All India Congress Committee on Thursday, while the BJP president Rajnath Singh will make strategy with RSS leaders.  

After taking charge as the Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi will meet AICC office bearers for the first time. Over 50 Congress office bearers including all the general secretary, secretary, state in charge, party’s youth wing, NSUI, women wing, Seva Dal will participate in the close-door meeting.   

Rahul Gandhi was appointed as Congress vice-president during the two-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ of the Congress in Jaipur. He officially took charge as party vice-president on January 23.
