Mumbai: 'Bigg Boss' house inmate and model Karishma Kotak, who was nominated for eviction this week, has left the show following her father's demise.

Last evening, Karishma was called in the confession room and was informed about her father's health. She was given the option either to stay or leave the house.

"Bigg Boss Season 6 contestant Karishma Kotak left the Bigg Boss house after nearly four weeks due to a family emergency. The model had to leave the Bigg Boss house as her father, who was ailing from severe liver sclerosis, passed away last evening," a statement issued by the Colors Channel said today.

The celebrity contestants nominated for eviction this week included Kotak, Gulab Gang leader Sampat Lal, controversial cartoonist Aseem Trivedi and hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani.

The reality show began from October 7 with 15 contestants. So far Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Yadav, Kashif Qureshi and actress Sayantani Ghosh -- have been voted out by the viewers.
