Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government on Saturday appointed IPS officer Sonali Mishra as Inspector General - Intelligence as part of a reshuffle, official sources said.

Mishra, only recently posted as Secretary, Home, will replace Rajesh Gupta who has been made IG Police Headquarters (PHQ) and Officer on Special Duty at Culture Department and In-charge of the newly constituted Sanchi University for Buddhist and Indic Studies.

I P Kulshreshta, Superintendent of Police, Raisen, has been posted as Assistant IG at PHQ, while R S Meena, SP, Barwani, has been posted as Commandant, First Batallion, Special Armed Force (SAF) at Indore.

Shashikant Shukla, SP Chief Minister's Security, has been posted as SP of Raisen. Shailendra Chouhan, SP Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS), has been posted as the SP CM's Security.
