Bedi said that Modi has reinforced faith on terms like values and ethics and at the same time also brought in a sense and feeling of humility, acceptance, communication, focus on service and duty.

“With NaMo’s coming in there is return to ethics and value systems too. There is humility, acceptance, communication, focus on service and duty,” Bedi, who is seen as a probable chief ministerial face of Delhi, wrote on microblogging website Twitter.

There has been a buzz across the nation ever since Modi was sworn-in as the nation’s 15th Prime Minister as the people are expecting him to deliver on the promises that he made during the election campaigns.

The former IPS officer’s praise for the Prime Minister assumes significance as it comes against the backdrop of veteran social activist Anna Hazare lauding Modi-led government at the Centre.

Anna had recently said that Modi-led government has given the people a reason to expect, hope and dream and things are looking quite good as of now. At the same time, he did not hold any word back to lash out at his one-time protégé Arvind Kejriwal.

Lashing out the Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi chief minister, Anna said that Kejriwal has deviated from his path and started harbouring prime ministerial ambitions.

Anna, Kiran and Kejriwal were key constituents of India Against Corruption (IAC), an anti-graft movement.

However, with due course of time, differences surfaced between the trio and they parted ways.

While Kejriwal opted for political avenue, Kiran continued to be with Anna in his movements and campaigns against corruption which includes the much talked-about Jan Lokpal Bill.
