A confident Modi also responded to Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s ‘low-level’ politics barb, saying a tea-vendor is challenging the grand old party.

Modi said Rahul was born with a silver spoon and he goes to the homes of poor people just to get publicity by clicking pictures there.

“Rahul ji does not know what poverty is because he was born with a silver spoon. He goes to poor people's homes and takes pictures,” Modi said while addressing a rally in Robertsganj.

“The government of mother-son has changed the slogan from 'Jai jawan, Jai Kisan' to 'Mar jawan, Mar Kisan',” he added.

Drawing a parallel between the Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP), Modi said there was no difference between these three political parties.

“You think SP, BSP and Congress are different?” questioned Modi.

“S is SP, B is BSP, KA is Congress...aur SABKA malik?” he asked the crowd. The crowd replied with “Ek”.

“If in Lucknow it is the father-son rule (Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav), in the Centre it is a mother-son rule,” he added.

Appealing Naxals to give in weapons, Modi said violence was not the solution to any problem.

“I want to tell Maoist people, the gun on the shoulder take lives. It doesn't help make it,” Modi said.

Taking potshots at the media, Modi said if he had used ‘neech’ term for the Gandhi family then the media would have crucified him.

“If I would have used 'neech' term for Gandhi family, media would have thrashed me.”Modi said.
