“Modi will now address a public meeting on April 10 at around 12.30 PM in support of the party candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency,” Bidyut Baran Mahato, BJP’s East Singhbhum district committee spokesman Anil Modi said.

The party has sought permission to conduct the meeting either at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur or Aam Bagan, Sakchi.

This would be Modi's third visit after the election notification was issued last month.

The party has fielded Vidhyut Mahato from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

Polling in Jamshedpur will take place on April 17.

Counting of votes in all the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on a single day on May 16.
