New Delhi: BJP top brass are going to take the responsibility of campaigning for the upcoming Assembly elections in five states. After strong demand for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as a campaigner, the party is planning to take him to all poll-bound states.

Intensifying its attack, the BJP has categorically alleged the Congress and its allies for using the black money in campaigning. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, BJP vice-president, election management and coordination, has said the BJP is contesting without an alliance with any party. He said that the BJP will field its candidate in all 824 seats in five states including Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. It would also hold more than 800 meetings and rallies.

In the rallies senior BJP leader LK Advani, party president Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj, and other senior leaders including Arun Jaitley, Murli Manohar Joshi, Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu and Narendra Modi would be participating.

Talking on the corruption issue, Naqvi alleged that the Congress and its allies are jointly using the black money for the election campaign. He said that the Election Commission should take action to curb this practice.

The Congress cannot save its sinking ship despite putting in all efforts as public disenchantment owing to misgovernance is on the rise, he added.

The BJP is planning to take on the government on issues like corruption, black money, unemployment, Naxalite and terrorism.
