"The BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, will land at the airport on December 29. From there he will fly by a helicopter, and land at the JSCA stadium before going to the venue," BJP’s Jharkhand unit president Ravindra Rai said while addressing a press conference.

He said the air route to the venue was preferred to avoid traffic snarls between airport and the venue, about six kilometres by road.

Rai further said the backdrop of the stage set up for the rally would resemble the Parliament.

Meanwhile, police sources said security at the ground has been deployed adequately.

The venue is situated at Dhurwa near Jagannath Temple and JSCA cricket stadium.
