The BJP strongman, who has so far held six rallies in the politically crucial state, will once again lay stress on issues related to regional concern in order to connect with the people. An evaluation team from Gujarat has already sent its report for the 2nd February rally and suggestions have been sought from local BJP leaders as well.
According to sources, several persistent problems of Western UP like eve-teasing, illegal or unlawful animal slaughter and communal tensions will be some of the key issues which are expected to be raised by Modi during his rally.

The kind of development which took place in neighbouring states of Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand will be presented as an illustration to draw a comparative developmental sketch of Western UP. Several issues, which attracted High Court’s attention, might also be taken up.

The farmers will be given suggestions on increasing productivity on the lines of Gujarat and ideas on fetch maximum prices for their outputs.

Modi will also throw light on the places of historical importance in Western UP and take a tour of industries situated in the region. According to UP BJP president Lakshmikant Bajpayee, Western UP has not seen development mainly due to the state government’s indifferent attitude.

The rally will also focus on sugarcane, jaggery, khadi cloths, sports and goods commodities, Saharanpur’s wooden crafts and Moradabad’s brass industry. The site of rally will also have a donation box – ‘Ek Vote Ek Note’ (One vote, one note) programme of BJP related to ‘Modi for PM fund’.

According to sources, there is a huge excitement among people about the rally and all efforts are being made to make it a success.
