Loud chants of Modi’s name were heard in the Central Hall of Parliament by the BJP leaders, who unitedly backed the proposal.

After Modi was unanimously elected as the BJP Parliamentary Party leader, party chief Rajnath Singh expressed happiness over the decision and lauded the Prime Minister designate.

Lauding BJP and NDA’s magnificent win in the general elections, Rajnath said the Bharatiya Janata Party at present has a bigger stature than the grand old party Congress, which has been decimated in the Lok Sabha elections.

Rajnath said the BJP’s vote share has risen in the entire nation after the general elections saw a record percentage of voting.

He added that the saffron party has claimed a wonderful electoral win in the general elections and the party has been accepted in every corner of the nation.

Rajnath said the BJP fought elections only on the issues of good governance and development and it paid dividends.

Expressing hope, Rajnath said as promised Modi will definitely take India on the path of development.

Invoking one of Modi’s election speeches in Hyderabad, Rajnath said: “Yes, he (Modi) will deliver.”
