The reasons hold much water as well as the charismatic duo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah is giving cold feet to ruling Congress.

At the same time, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who is eyeing to return to power for the third time, will go out in open and present the government’s report card across the state.

Haryana is a familiar territory for Modi as he has been the BJP in-charge of this North Indian state. Amit Shah, who scripted BJP’s splendid victory in Uttar Pradesh in 2014 Lok Sabha polls, will visit Haryana for the first time.

The party leaders are expecting Shah to deliver a performance on the lines of Uttar Pradesh in Haryana.

After being named the prime ministerial candidate, Modi started his nationwide campaign from Rewari in Haryana. He will visit Kaithal for the first time after becoming Prime Minister and the area is mainly inhabited by Jats and Bangars.

Along with his Cabinet colleague Krishnapal Gujrar, Modi will lay down the foundation stone of for four laning of highway that stretches from Kaithal to Ambala and will address a rally as well.

The BJP believes that the rally will kick start the poll campaign in Haryana. Besides, Amit Shah will be seen in Haryana twice on separate occasions in August.

On 16th August, the BJP chief will be seen in a show of strength rally in Congress rebel Birender Singh.

Again on 19th August, he will flag off four Jansampark Yatra from Mahendragarh.

Both Modi and Shah will thus be present in Haryana in the same day and the visits of both the leaders in the state are deemed quite crucial.

On the other hand, Bhupinder Singh Hooda will also address a massive rally in Panipat on 24th August. He will present a report card during the rally to highlight his government’s achievements in an attempt to deflate BJP’s claims.

Hooda has in fact played a major diplomatic card in order to ensure the rally’s success and said that those aspiring for tickets need to reach the rally with at least 1,000 people.
