Greater Noida: Continuing with the process of convincing more and more villagers of Patwari village to accept the renewed land compensation, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) signed agreement with four more villagers.

GNIDA is trying to bring on board as many villagers possible before the next hearing of the case by Allahabad Hugh Court on September 12.

On August 29, Allahabad High Court had adjourned the hearing of the land acquisition case in Greater Noida.

Subsequently, the extension has given GNIDA an opportunity to make settlements with the remaining farmers who have not yet signed on the dotted lines.

Presently, out of 1600 framers, 1200 have already signed agreement with the development authority. On Thursday, four more villagers signed the affidavit and took their compensation amount.
