Hisar: A state level entrance exam for seeking admission into 3-year B.Sc degree course took place in Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University in Haryana on Sunday.

Dr K.S. Khokhar, Vice-Chancellor of the university visited a number of examination centers to take a stock of the preparedness.

Among those who accompanied him on the occasion included Dr K.S. Dahia who is working in the capacity of Registrar of the university presently.

As per sources, university authorities had organised an entrance exam for 50 seats in B.Sc (Hons)course on Sunday for which it had received 3,833 applications. However, only 3,558 candidates have appeared in the test.

9 centers were made in the main campus while one centre was situated outside the main campus.

Registrar, Dahia said the University authorities had made sufficient arrangements due to which exams could be held peacfully in the campus.

A videography was also done of the candidates so that outsiders are not able to sit in the exam.
