During a TV interview, Motorola India's general manager Amit Boni said that the Moto X Force will make its foray in the Indian tech market next year.
“It has the same Moto ShatterShield display technology. Also, the name 'Droid Turbo 2' is exclusive to the US; the same phone will be introduced as the Moto X Force in India and other countries," Boni said in the interview.


The following are the specifications of Moto X Force:

  • The phone comes with a 32 GB internal storage variant and has the memory that can be extended up to 2 TB via a microSD memory card.
  • It weighs a mere 169gm and measures 7.6mm at its thinnest point.
  • The android device comes with OLED display panel measures 5.4-inch in size and sports resolution of 1440x2560p
  • Moto X Force packs with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear that produces rich, sharp and extremely detailed pictures.
  • The phone is also loaded with a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfie lovers and has auto, manual, beauty, panorama and light field options.
  • The camera comes with inbuilt geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto-HD recording features.
  • The phone has a 3760  mAh non-removable battery that offers stand-by for up to 500 hours, talk time up to 25 hours
  • As for the hardware, the Moto X Force is powered by Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57
  • Operating System: Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • The phone is compiled with 3GB RAM.
  • Moto X Force has 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi with MIMO, and infrared as connectivity option.
