The Moto E 2nd Generation handset will be priced at Rs. 6,999, same as the original Moto E handset launched last year. The Moto E 2105 model smartphone will be exclusively available via Flipkart.

The company revealed the price on Sunday and soon after that it started rolling out the invites for the Moto E event.

The reason for Moto E comes with the same price tag is because the company wants to make sure that it stands equivalent to other tech giants like Xiaomi and Lenovo who are selling their feature packed phones at a very affordable and competitive price.

With a slightly larger 4.5-inch display with 690 x 540pixel resolution, the device runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop software and features 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU , 5MP rear camera and 2,390 mAh battery. With 1GB worth of RAM, the device has 8GB internal memory (expandable upto 32GB).
