The budget smartphone by Moto earlier went on sale exclusively available via online retailer Flipkart.

Moto E has 4.3-inch screen and1.2GHz dual-core processor. The dual sim phone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and has 1 GB RAM.

It comes with 5 MP rear camera but does not have rear LED. The Moto E has 1,980 mAh battery with 24 hour backup.
This is Motorola's third device in India, after Moto G and Moto X. In February this year, Motorola re-entered the Indian market after a nearly two-year hiatus with Moto G.  

Smartphone sales in the country grew almost three-fold to over 44 million in 2013 and according to IDC data, India was one of the fastest-growing markets worldwide in terms of smartphone adoption in 2013.

While Samsung led the category with 38 percent share, Micromax had 16 percent, Karbonn (10 percent), Sony (5 percent) and Lava (4.7 percent) in the fourth quarter of 2013.
