Storyline: The film is about Armaan a fading movie star essayed by Govinda, who goes to Hollywood to get a Bollywood script written in Hollywood style in his desperation to save his stardom. He meets Hollywood writer 'Yudi' essayed by Saif Ali Khan who hasn't written anything in the last few years.
Yudi, who is against romantic comedy stories, is forced to write one and is caught between finding inspiration and love. Ileana Dcruz, who plays the love interest of Yudi, proves to be an inspiration for him.
While Kalki Koechlin essays the role of an America-returned girl Bisakha, who is obsessed with Saif's character.
Will Yudi find his Happy Ending in both love and work is what the film is all about
Review: The film is a funny take on modern day relationships. 'Happy Ending' is a light-hearted comedy about rom-coms. Despite being a bona fide romantic comedy, the film goes beyond it.
The movie is a mix of humour, a double fun dose of Govinda and Saif. While Govinda enthrals the audience by delivering funny dialogues with a dead pan face, Saif Ali Khan creates humour with his usual quirkiness.
The music of the film is composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar, while lyrics is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It is average and unable to create the desired buzz for the movie.
Shot in locations like Ann Arbor, Michigan, the film gives a visual treat to those who love foreign locations.
Produced by Illuminati Films, another major attraction of the film is its cameo roles. Saif Ali Khan, who is part of the film, will also be seen playing a cameo. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Preity Zinta and Ileana D'Cruz's boyfriend Andrew Kneebone will also be making guest appearance in the movie.
