Bhopal: In-order to gear up the state administration, newly appointed Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh is taking stock of performance of District Collectors in various districts with regards to safest method of wheat collection and its storage. An IAS officer of 1978 batch R Parasuram is trying his best to get executed the welfare schemes launched by the state government in various districts in a better way.

The state government is mulling over giving preference to performance of collectors in their postings.

According to sources, Chief Secretary of the state is keeping a tab on decisions taken by District Magistrates in their respective districts in maintaining proper availability of water in rural areas and ensuring the well- being of people living in these areas besides collection of wheat.

Performance report of respective collectors will also be prepared on the basis of feedback received through video-conferencing during online and various assessment programmes.

According to sources, Chief Secretary R Parasuram is giving preference to collectors of his choice in order to tighten the grip on administration. His proposal has also received a green signal from the Chief Minister of the state.
