Morena (MP): Terming yoga guru Baba Ramdev as "Revolutionary National Saint", Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Monday backed the agitation launched by him to bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks.

"Baba Ramdev is a Krantikari Rahstriya Sant (Revolutionary National Saint) and I am with him on the issue of bringing back black money stashed away in foreign banks, removal of corrupt persons and spreading yoga education in the country," Chouhan said while attending a yoga camp organized by Baba Ramdev.

He also said "Baba Ramdev is our guest and I specially came here to honour him."

Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh government has also launched a campaign against black money and removal of corrupt persons from their official positions and as part of it raids were being carried out against those who have amassed wealth more than their known sources of income.

He also informed that special courts have been constituted in the state for speedy trial of such persons.

Talking to reporters after the camp, Chouhan, to a question on alleged illegal mining in the region said that directives have been issued to officials to act sternly against such activities even as the state would ensure that those engaged in mining in a legal manner would not face any problem.
