Bhopal: Four alleged activists of Indian Mujahidin and SIMI who were arrested by Madhya Pradesh police in June in the backdrop of Mumbai blasts have accepted to undergo narco test.

The acceptance letters of the accused - Sheikh Mujib Ahmed, Mohd. Aslam, Sheikh Habib alias Shetty and Mohd. Sajid - have been submitted with the CJM court of Jabalpur by the MP ATS. The next hearing on this issue is on August 17.

The CJM court has also asked the ATS to produce the terrorists before the court on August 24.

The lawyer of the accused, Naem Khan has also confirmed their acceptance.

The decision for narco test comes after the investigators failed to extract any important lead regarding Mumbai blasts from the accused.

As per Supreme Court jurisdiction, acceptance in written is required from the person undergoing narco analysis test.
