Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government provided a car to state Scheduled Tribe Commission Chairman Ramlal Routel for official use following media reports that he had been taking autorickshaw to his office for the last three months.

Two days back, Leader of Opposition in state Assembly, Ajay Singh had written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan saying that if the government failed to provide a car to Routel, the Congress would do so.

Routel had not been issued an official car by the government earlier. However, the vehicle for him was arranged by the Tribal Welfare department on Tuesday.
Routel said when he reached home last evening he received a message that a car had been sent to his residence.
