Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education also known as Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal. It is responsible to regulate and supervise the system of Intermediate education in the state.

Apart from this, the board is also involved in various other activities such as devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges.

The board boasts the responsibilities of conducting Middle School Exam, SSC & HSC examinations for both private and regular students.
