Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said there should be a "thorough, independent and completely dispassionate" investigation into the Madhya Pradesh exam scam within a time frame.
"A Special Investigating Team (SIT) probe monitored ideally by the Supreme Court or at the minimum by the High Court should be constituted," he told reporters in Delhi.
Opposition is planning to raise the MP Professional Board Examination scam in the House and treasury benches preparing hard to counter them.
"We will raise all issues related to the public with full might in the Assembly." Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare said in Bhopal.
During the BJP MLAs' recent training session in Khajuraho, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed the party legislators not to remain defensive on the issue as the government has not done anything wrong.
He asked them to be prepared to face Opposition in an aggressive manner on the issue.
The session is scheduled to continue till July 28, during which the state's budget will be passed.
