New Delhi: The Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan will be opened for public viewing from February 15.

The Garden opens for the public viewing once a year and this year people could visit the historic park from February 15 to March 20. Entry into the Gardens will open from 10 AM to 5 PM.

The main Mughal Garden is in bloom having annual flowers such as roses, lilies, tulips, double pansy flowers and eye catching velvet green lawns intercepted with lotus shaped fountains and blue base water canals.

The Mughal Gardens, contiguous to the main building of Rashtrapati Bhavan, is spread over an area of 15 acres. It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens inspired by the beautiful gardens of Jammu and Kashmir.

However, the garden will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance.
