“BJP has copied the SP's manifesto. That is why it was released so late,” Mulayam, who is contesting from Mainpuri and Azamgarh, said.

BJP manifesto promises construction of Ram Temple

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said the BJP manifesto does not promise anything for farmers and it is meant only for businessmen.

The BJP, which released its much-delayed manifesto on Monday, promised contentious issues like construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir, enactment of Uniform Civil Code and economic growth.

The 52-page document, which was released at the BJP headquarters here, pledged to provide good governance and inclusive development besides focusing on improving the country’s economy and infrastructure, ending policy paralysis and curbing corruption.
