New Delhi: Foreseeing formation of a Third Front government ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that he is not in the race for the post of Prime Minister but did not rule out accepting such an offer.

He anticipated that TMC, TDP and JD-U would come together with SP and others to form the Third Front.  "In the next elections, neither Congress nor BJP will get a majority. Among the Third Forces, Samajwadi Party will be the biggest," Yadav said.

The SP chief, however, said that as of now he is not making any claim of becoming the Prime Minister in case the Third Front comes to power but hinted that in the past leaders whom nobody expected had occupied the top post.

Mulayam also said that there is nothing wrong in NCP chief Sharad Pawar having the desire to become the Prime Minister. "What is wrong if he has this ambition? We are not saints and sanyasis," he said.
