Mumbai: Surmeet Kaur, a 37-year-old housewife from Mumbai became the second contestant to win a whooping amount of Rs 5 crore on the sixth season of popular game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Earlier, Bihar’s Sushil Kumar had won Rs 5 crore in the fifth season of KBC and became the first contestant to grab the jackpot prize. A computer operator by profession, Sushil was drawing a monthly salary of Rs 6000 before winning the grand prize. Later, he participated as a contestant in celebrity dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. The concept of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, hosted by Megastar Amitabh Bachchan since 2000, is based on UK’s ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’. It is the most watched game show in India today.
