Mumbai: National Students Union of India's (NSUI) Mumbai unit President Suraj Singh Thakur has been suspended for allegedly dancing naked at a party function in Mumbai.

According to reports, Thakur was suspended on Monday for dancing naked and his disorderly behaviour at a party function held in Kadivli on April 14. Thakur, who had been re-elected as NSUI President in December 2012, was reportedly drunk.

He was caught on camera dancing in the NSUI camp.  The video of Thakur allegedly dancing naked started trending as soon as it was uploaded on YouTube. But later it was taken off.

Besides Thakur, the NSUI National President also suspended two other office bearers since they too were believed to be drunk.

Thakur first gained prominence after he spearheaded protests against the book of Rajiv Gandhi’s alleged killer AG Perarivalan in May 2011.
