Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has decided to take a week-long road route across the state to take a stock of overall development in the state.

On the first day of his road tour starting from Thursday, the Chief Minister will monitor the progress of development projects in Ranchi, Jainamod, Dumri and Giridih and will finally halt at Deogarh.

On Friday, he will attend a seminar organised by self help groups in Dumka. He will also hold the first cabinet meeting of his third term here on Friday.

After assessing the development in Dumka he will proceed to Pakur and Sahebganj for reviewing the progress on Saturday,

Covering the road routes in Pirpainti, Mahgama, Gandhigram and Gowda he will reach West Singhbhum via helicopter from Deogarh to attend a football tournament as a chief guest.
