Movie: Murder 3

Director: Vishesh Bhatt

Cast: Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sara Loren

Jagran Rating: Average

Storyline:  ‘Murder 3’ has hardly any link with its prequels- Murder 1 and Murder 2. The movie, released on Friday, has nothing common with regard to the two previous movies except imitation in its name.

The movie’s plot is legally borrowed from Columbian movie, ‘The Hidden Face’. The story starts when Vikram (Randeep Hooda) who moves from Cape Town to Mumbai with his architect girlfriend Roshni (Aditi Rao Hydari). Roshni suspects his infidelity and leaves him with no trace except a video farewell message. Searching for his beloved, Vikram informs the cops, which proves useless.

The story proceeds with entry of stifling bar-girl (Sara Loren), who meets Vikram and both eventually, fall in love. Moving ahead in the story, Sara moves to his palatial house. The thrill factor in the movie starts now when his ladylove finds something haunting going on in the house and the love story then comes to a barricade. Divulging anything more would reveal the climax of the story.

Thumbs Up:

First half of the movie is gripping with serious thrills and chills. Sensuous sound tracks are a great advantage in the movie. Randeep Hooda is steaming the screen with his super ‘Hot’ look. Sara Loren, undoubtedly gorgeous is clearly inept in acting.

Thumbs Down:

The biggest drop of the film is its innumerable sound tracks. Almost every scene is followed by a romantic song. Moreover, it is hard to decipher the connection between songs and scenes of the movie. Few scenes in the film seem as if dragged unnecessarily. All these points together result into lengthy screenplay.
In nutshell, we recommend this movie as a one time show for all.
