Macau:  Television actor Ram Kapoor has a number of films lined up this year. Right now the actor who is seen in the popular TV show ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ says that he has started giving precedence to his films over his television serials.

"As of now, the kind of projects I am doing are so big that I don't have a choice. Films are getting precedence. When you are working with people who are very big, then you have to give them preference. But this is temporary," Ram said.

"I have a good business manager who handles all my dates and schedules. I try to shoot half-a-month for TV and rest for films. We are managing it well so far. Let's see how it goes," he added.

Until now, Ram has played various roles on the big screen, like an IAS officer in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, a loving uncle in Udaan and as a hyper dad in Mere Dad Ki Maruti.

Talking about different kind of roles he does in films, the 39-year-old said, "I like the variety. I don't like segregating and saying this is my favourite. I don't like to get stuck in the same kind of role again and again."

"I try and cater to my audience as much as possible and be exactly the way they want me to be. I have a good sense of what they (viewers) like about me and try and follow that," he added.

The actor also believes that it is impossible to have a personal life as celebrities constantly have to be in the public eye.

“It is impossible to maintain your privacy in this world.  But I am not complaining. I love my job," Ram said.
