London: Hollywood actress Kate Winslet is passionate about her acting but hates watching her own movies because she finds the whole thing excruciating.

She said, "I watch my films once, and that's it. The experience of making a movie is far removed from watching the end result. It's exciting, but it still makes me squirm.”

Becoming an actress was her soul’s dream. She said, "I always wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember, and I'm incredibly fortunate that my career has turned out the way it has.

The 'Mildred Pierce' star who bagged the Best Actress award for her role in 'The Reader' in 2009, earlier had taken a break from work since she did not feel productive.

She added, "I just waited until the dust had settled and I was ready to engage with - it sounds so bad - my creative side again. In the last few years I've allowed myself to acknowledge the fact that I do really need my job. I need that outlet.”
