Under the pact, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT) and Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) have joined hands with the Government-run development bank to work for the welfare of poor across India and evolve successful models of development.

The MoU was signed by SDTT Executive Trustee R Venkataramanan and NABARD Chief General Manager P Radhakrishnan, a NABARD release said here.
"With this MoU, we will join hands with NABARD to work for the welfare of poor people across India and also evolve successful models of development," SDIT Chairman Ratan Tata, who was present at the signing ceremony, said.

"This is a milestone arrangement and will help in convergence of other corporate CSR activities to emulate such models. Joining of corporates will provide two-way audit of the developmental works. The MoU will also help imbibe corporate empathy for development and improve ground level delivery," NABARD Chairman Harsh Kumar Bhanwala said.
