Naked marriage in the Chinese context doesn't mean marrying without your clothes on, for it's all about entering into a nuptial bond without possessing any car or house.

The results of the survey of a media company in China, were timed with Chinese Valentine's Day (August 13) and polled 1.59 million taxi passengers in five cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou over the last month, a China daily reported.

It also found that when it comes to ‘naked marriage,’ which means getting married without a house and car, 45 percent of those polled ‘approve of the idea.’

It was also found during the course of research that less than 30 percent would actually ‘practice  naked marriage.’
