New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi ignored his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar at the annual conference on internal security in the national capital on Wednesday.

Modi walked past Nitish Kumar, who was talking to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, when he arrived at the venue.

The two leaders have been at loggerheads in the past. While Modi has been projecting himself as the BJP’s prime ministerial nominee for 2014 polls, JD-U has opposed the idea, saying a person with a secular image should instead be nominated.

The two parties are partners in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and run a coalition government in Bihar.
