New Delhi: BJP poll campaign committee chief and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reached the national capital to attend a crucial party meeting.

It is expected that Modi will give final touches to his mission-2014 and announce the list of his team. He will also disclose his electoral strategy to the members of the parliamentary board, party general secretaries and senior leaders of the party. This is the first meeting of Modi with members of parliamentary board of BJP after he was elevated within the party few months ago.

Apart from some party general secretaries, top BJP leaders are expected to attend the meeting. According to sources, veteran leader LK Advani and party president Rajnath Singh will also attend the meeting.

The meeting holds important because the BJP is likely to lay out blueprint for the party's 2014 general elections campaign. It would also be the first time when Advani and his one-time protégé Narendra Modi would discuss the poll strategies together.

According to sources, Modi has invited members of parliamentary board because he wants to give a clear message that he is taking decisions unanimously.

Assembly elections are due in several big states by the end of the year and Modi will also attend a meeting of party general secretaries to discuss campaign plans on Thursday evening.
