New Delhi: Bête noire of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and suspended IPS Sanjeev Bhatt on Saturday wrote a letter to the former accusing him of distancing from his close aide and convicts Maya Kodnani and Babu Bajrangi in Naroda Patiya riot case.

In his letter, Bhatt said that Modi made distance from his close aides. He added that Narendra Modi was chatting with people on Google+ Hangout on the very same day a special court in Ahmedabad pronounced quantum of punishment to 31 accused including former BJP minister Maya Kodnani and former Bajrang Dal leader Babu Bajrangi in Naroda Patiya riot case.

Letter reads: ‘Your one time friends were given life term in jail in Naroda Patiya riot case and you didn’t bother to even console their family members’.

Bhatt alleges that Modi has lost his way in the name of Hindutva. He is treating them as the hurdles in path of your political ambition, added Bhatt.
