New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has downplayed his Prime Ministerial ambitions insisting that Gujarat remains his focus saying that any plan to move to Delhi is only media speculation.

"Six crore Gujaratis have given me a responsibility and I will put in all my efforts for Gujarat," Modi said.

Earlier, BJP president Nitin Gadkari had said that Modi was one of the front runners for Prime Minister's post.

Modi's month-long Swami Vivekananda Yuva Viskas Yatra is all set to conclude on Thursday. During this yatra, he toured across the state as part of his election campaign.

"The 2012 elections will see the grand victory of BJP in Gujarat. More than any previous elections, after this win I will be more focused on developing Gujarat into a dream state," Modi added.

The state assembly polls are scheduled to be held on December 13 and 17. Counting of votes is slated for December 20.
