Nagpur: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will meet Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur on Tuesday. They are likely to discuss the political situation in the country and BJP's strategy in coming Lok Sabha and assembly elections.
The meeting between Modi, who reaches on Sunday evening, and Bhagwat will take place ten days after senior BJP leader LK Advani had met the RSS chief here discussing the coming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Bhagwat had played a significant role in persuading Advani to withdraw his resignation from key posts of BJP in June in protest against the elevation of Modi as BJP's 2014 poll panel chief.
It was also RSS that was believed to have insisted that Modi's elevation must be announced at the BJP's meeting in Goa, despite Advani's absence.
