Los Angeles, Jan 16 (Agencies): Hollywood actress Natalie Portman, who is expecting her first child with choreographer fiancé Benjamin Millepied, is planning to take a break from movies after the baby.

The 29-year-old star is a favourite to get an Oscar nomination for her performance as a troubled ballerina in Darren Aronfsky's film 'Black Swan', where she met Millepied.

Now, priorities have changed for the star, who recently announced her engagement with the choreographer.

"I'll be out of the public eye after (the baby), adding that she will just take any future career opportunity as it comes,”she said.

The actress does not want to know the sex of the baby before the birth because she is "superstitious" about it.

"I'm very superstitious. I'm very Jewish that way. We don't do that," she said.
