New Delhi: Variety of books would be available before you with a single click thanks to the National Knowledge Network. About lakhs of people from different states can online attend the lectures delivered by the professors on various issues simultaneously.

This would be possible by connecting all the libraries to internet and by uploading special lectures on various issues on National Knowledge Network.

Sam Pitroda, Advisor to the Prime Minister informed about it. This public lecture was interlinked with 11 educational institutions.

For the first time, over 1 lakh teachers and students listened the lecture. The theme of the lecture was “Democratising Information, Justice, Equality and the Rule of Law”.

On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, Dinesh Singh informed the students about the National Knowledge Network.

Students from IIT Mumbai, IIT Guhati, Gujarat Vidhyapith, IIM Kolkata, Pune University, Shivaji University and many other institutions were part of the lecture through internet.
