Ahmedabad: BJP’s star campaigner and MP Navjot Singh Siddhu during an election rally in the state has hit out at the Congress and the government at the Centre. In a scathing attack, Siddhu has termed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as an ineffective ‘Sardar’. He also compared the Congress to the popular Bollywood item girl ‘Munni’of ‘Dabangg’ saying that the ‘Congress is more 'badnam' than Munni’.

Siddhu made the comments while addressing an election rally in Visavadar on Thursday, the constituency of Gujarat Parivartan Party (GPP) chief Keshubhai Patel. He termed the Prime Minister as ineffective and one who lacked administrative acumen. He further accused the Congress of widespread corruption and blamed it for plunging the country into darkness. On the other hand, hailing Narendra Modi’s capabilities, Siddhu said that victory in assembly election will give a fillip to Modi’s chances of becoming the Prime Minister and urged the people to help realise this dream.

He also took a dig at BJP dissident Keshubhai Patel and called him dishonest and a backstabber.
