The ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and ‘Kahaani’ fame actor walked the ramp on Saturday for designer Troy Costa in a black tuxedo teamed with a printed velvet bow-tie. The outfit was the part of the designer's collection - The London Eye.

"I was very, very nervous, but Troy boosted my confidence and it is because of him that I was able to manage walking on the ramp," Nawazuddin said.

"I think one should face everything. Before finally walking the ramp, Troy made me rehearse and made it easy for me," added the actor whose next lineup include ‘The Mountain Man’ and ‘Anwar Ka Ajab Kissa’.

Troy, who collaborated with other Bollywood actors in the past, said that he chose Nawaz because he suited the theme well.

"Though I have worked with Hrithik (Roshan), Saif (Ali Khan), Vidyut (Jamwal), Ayushmann (Khurrana) and could have asked anyone of them to walk for me, but they did not appeal to me, Nawazuddin was the one who fit the bill," Troy said. Nawaz's simplicity impresses Troy who hopes to collaborate with him in future.

"He (Nawazuddin) is an intelligent actor. He is simple. He embodies everything that I have never been and wanted to be. So, I am going to work with him for the rest of his living life or mine," he added.
